“One Lord, one faith, one baptism.” — Ephesians 4:5
Welcome. This blog carries the Bible lessons and sermons preached from the pulpit of Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church in Dardanelle, Arkansas, by Pastor Chuck Trusty.
What you will find here
Every lesson on this site is built on one simple rule: let the Bible explain the Bible. We preach from the King James Version, verse by verse, comparing Scripture with Scripture — precept upon precept, line upon line (Isaiah 28:10). The goal of these pages is never to tell you what we think; it is to show you what God has said, in His own words and in their own context.
Why “One Lord One Faith”?
The name comes from Ephesians 4:5. In a world of many voices and many opinions, there is still only one Lord, one faith, and one Book that carries His words. These lessons are our effort to open that Book plainly, for the new believer and the seasoned saint alike.
Where to start
If you are new to the Bible — or new to this site — start with the booklet series What Does The Bible Say?, a simple foundation for new believers. To know what this church believes and why, read What We Believe — The 21 Landmarks. And beginning in September 2026, join us for The Route 66 Journey — a trip through all sixty-six books of the Bible.
Hear the messages
Audio and video of many messages are available on the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church Facebook page. If you are ever in the River Valley, we would love to have you worship with us.
